OUR CONSUMERS SPEAK, BENEKO ACTS – INTRODUCING NEW SERVICES TO OUR APP 🔺📱

Beneko App now displays some important updates. We have built a new interface with the largest selection of mobile phones and we have integrated CleverTap, the best Retention Platform for High-Growth Mobile Apps. And this is not all…

At beneko we carefully consider our customers´ feedback. When Maniuś, Wiesław, Zdzisław or Adrian, amongst many others, gave us their feedback about beneko App we went back to the board and into design-thinking mode. What could we do to make it a better experience for them? These are some of the solutions we have implemented so far.

WHAT´S NEW

  1. New interface with the largest selection of mobile phones.
    We were aware our customers needed a different journey flow, easier and more comprehensible with a larger selection of products. The relationship of trust, we have built with our sellers overtime, allowed us to have it ready for our clients in a very limited time. The largest selection of mobile phones is now LIVE.
  2. Checkout interface and App navigation.
    Based on the comments received, we have generated a new flow both at the checkout and the navigation for a better and easier customer journey.
  3. CleverTap is now integrated.
    CleverTap is a SaaS based user retention platform for High-Growth mobile apps. It provides mobile app analytics, personalized experiences for our users and user engagement products to more than 5,000 companies including Sony, Vodafone, DC Comics, 7-Eleven or Domino´s.
  4. Directly open the client email from the App.
    Sometimes, users want to speed things up. Beneko is here to accomodate the flow to their needs. Do they need to confirm their email address or check and email they just received from us? Now they can do so directly from the App by just clicking the “Open mailbox” button where necessary.
  5. Direct communication via the Wish Section
    One of our most important features in the App, the Wish section, now allows our Customer Service to communicate directly with the client via App. This greatly improve the communication process. In addition to that, users with iOS can now create a new wish by simply tapping and holding the Wish icon at the Home page.

WHAT´S IMPROVED

  1. Attachements are now allowed.
    The Customer Service is able now to send attachments directly to our clients through the App, and vice versa.
  2. Updated Wish Section.
    While we allowed our customers to provide the desirable price for their wishes through the interface, it was of no real use. We have now modified this and customers are able to send the best price they found (through a link) AND WE WILL BEAT THAT!
  3. Notifications and messages.
    Following feedback we have fixed the behaviour of the Push notifications. Previously, when a client clicked on it they were not directed to the offer page if the App was closed. Also, the messages through our push notifications are now kept short and to the point. No blurb. In addition to that, all unread messages are stored in a single location for a clear view.
  4. An aligned Mission and Vision.
    Our vision is what´s most important to us and we want customers to understand our commitment with the society and the planet. From now on our users will need to accept our vision in order to make a purchase.

We hope with this changes Maniuś, Wiesław, Zdzisław or Adrian will have a much better User Experience. We thank you all for your comments, this keeps us getting better and better.

Over the past several years, impact investing – which intends to generate a positive, social or environmental impact alongside a financial return – has become more regular worldwide. However, Europe´s start-up ecosystem is yet difficult to overcome.

The Global Impact Investing Network´s (GIIN) Annual Impact Investor Survey 2020 sizes the market in a sky-rocketing $715bn. In 2012, it was valued at $8bn only.

Within the next years, there are numerous initiatives and measures to be reached, such as the United Nations´17 sustainable development goals (SDGs), an agenda that pushes for a healthier planet (socially and environmentally) in the next decade. Furthermore, policymakers in the European Union are looking to incentivize sustainable imports, engage with exporter governments and lobby them to address sustainability issues and create an enabling environment for businesses to produce sustainably and link markets that show strong demand for sustainable products.

68% of consumers are willing to pay more for a sustainable product – The Nielsen Company.

On top of that, consumers are raising their expectations and they care more about the impact their spending has on their habitat. A consumer survey from The Nielsen Company with more than 30,000 consumers found that 68% of consumers were willing to pay more for a sustainable product, up from 50% two years earlier. Sales growth by companies with a demonstrated commitment to sustainability was four times higher than that of competitors. Plus, 98.5% customers consider sustainability as a factor in product sourcing. Furthermore, 92% of retailers expect sales in sustainable products to increase in the next five years.

One reason for our company to focus on sustainability is to establish a relationship of trust with our customers.

So far, at Beneko we have paved the way to lead the sustainable sourcing to be mainstreamed and promote the necessary actions within our business. We are optimistic that if we all work together, there can be a bright future for all the stakeholders.

Briefing

Beneko is the alternative to traditional marketplaces. A multicategory B2C marketplace selling products throughout Europe using Mirakl for the backend and Magento for the frontend.

Our marketplace will help sellers reach all EU countries without any boundaries. Cross-border has a YoY Growth of 13% and accounts for +25% of all E-commerce in the EU. Our marketplace is a multi-currency / multi-country / multi-language solution and it will rapidly host hundreds of vendors and tens of thousands of products. We are on the process to already maximize ROI from using our own Beneko App (launched on the 05th May 2020) and our Marketplace is a ready-to-go solution that we have developed and is ready to be deployed.

Our immediate strategic objectives are to launch in those countries where we have a foothold already, including 2 Million customers, local teams, logistics and partners: Spain, U.K., France, Germany, Poland, Czech Republic or Hungary and then expand towards the rest of the EU. In addition to that, our main partner is Turbado, a seller, who carries more than 500 SKUs and has a solid base and brand awareness throughout Eastern Europe.

Through an Impact Investing, you will help us to successfully deliver a unique customer experience which does not end from the moment of the purchase, but one which is extended until the product is brought back to us. Customers can return, upgrade their goods or exchange them for different products or cash. We then take care of their e-waste. From the moment of first engagement till the return of their product we are constantly available for helping and managing all requests. This way our partnership with consumers is not only during the purchase, but our image and reputation goes for a lifetime. Investment

Through a convertible bond, the Investor will invest in the project the capital required. This amount is a calculated total of 1.5M euros until we reach the breakeven point in 2022.

    To other retailers, price comparison sites etc. Who already have a solution that needs improvement or who have none.
  2. As an MVNO Operator.
    Embedding our solution into their website. This leads to long term engagement, higher customer satisfaction, increased LifeTime Value (LTV) and enhanced brand reputation and recognition.

Wherever we live in the world, we cannot escape the feeling of collective grief that has overwhelmed our society, and in particular the Black American community.

Watching the widely circulated video showing the last moments of Floyd´s life, we felt the devastating pain and anger at the never-ending injustice that skin colour faces in our society. From the killing of Floyd to the killings of Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, Tony McDade, Rayshard Brooks and many others whose stories have not made it to mainstream media we will keep encouraging for equal rights and the eradication of this evil discrimination.

The new iteration of the Black Lives Matter protests stays on course, inspiring to watch from afar their political acuity and tenacity and their insistence on revolution, not reform.

Our pain was mixed with joy and pride watching people articulate versions of freedom that we have always believed in – a Black freedom struggle that does not leave anyone behind and that is grounded on full equality through necessary change.

In France, Black Parisians reignited the struggle for justice for Adama Traore, a 24-year old Black Parisian who died in police custody.

In England, protesters attacked the statues of historic figures who played a leading role in British imperialism and the slave trade, starting a nationwide conversation about the whitewashing of British colonial history.

In Belgium, after mass protests forced the removal of several statues of King Leopold II, notorious for his barbaric rule of Congo; they also prompted the head of parliament to call for a truth and reconciliation commission to address colonial time crimes.

In the Netherlands, demonstrations elicited calls for the use of blackface to portray “Black Pete” in Christmas celebrations to be banned.

In Germany, local protests which were held not just in Berlin, but in other large cities across the country, also sparked national conversations about racism.

These protests offered a much-needed space for reflection, commitment and social change. Indeed, deep-rooted, debilitating, structural racism is an international problem that we all need to change.

Now is our chance to escalate the energy of the moment and move from protest to power to policy change.

🔺📱 beneko app Version 1.0.2

Beneko keeps working hard on implementing new features and optimizing resources on our App to continue improving the customer experience and CPA’s. The release of the version 1.0.2 is here and with this we are one step closer to introducing the App to a broader audience.

Beneko, a mobile application, currently on phase ONE of a total of three phases, providing the best offers for premium electronics. Do you want a new smartphone? We have it cheaper for you. How? Our sales department, combined with AI technology, compares thousands of offers daily from the largest e-shops, European distributors and authorized resellers to bring you the best of the best.

What´s new

  1. Granular push-notifications.
    Our users will be able to decide which notifications they prefer to receive. Will it be our deal of the day, or our deal of the week, the theme of the month, the special offers or all of them? This new feature can be found under Settings > Notifications.
  2. TouchID sign-in.
    Our users will be able to quickly log-in with the TouchID interface. New users are prompted to Activate biometric log-in during the first session.
  3. Fixed Customer support message.
    Every new sentence starts with capital letter to ease legibility and comprehension.
  4. Push Notifications based on user language.
    Our Push Notifications are now linked with customer mother tongue. By translating messages and using expressions that make sense in that given language, we make sure that we match the language set on the user App.
  5. Lokalize update.
    Latest Lokalize language version added. Lokalise is the ultimate localization and translation management software tool that helps our product reach our target audience within the minimum time frame.

What´s Fixed

  1. Added haptic feedback to toggle buttons in push settings.
    It now taps or vibrates when you perform certain actions. It simulates a physical click on the non-mechanical Home button and delivers an incredibly precise and short taps, rather than extended vibrations.
  2. Bug fixing under the Wish section.
    The Wish section contained a bug at the Carousel level that was malfunctioning.
  3. Changed logic of Rating pre-permission.
    Now we show it after logging in ten (10) times within three (3) days.
  4. Message deduplication.
    If the user pushed the same message twice by mistake, only the initial message will be kept on the message interface section.
  5. The Wish section has a new look.
    We keep improving this section with new features, new categories and a better UX design. Plan your purchases ahead of time and save more. Let us know what device you want and what is your acceptable offer.
  6. The payment area has been improved for a quicker check-out.
    We have also included PayPal and Trustly as alternative payment options.
  7. Navigation improvement.
    Improved navigation throughout the app from child level to Epic.
